Ingredients

milk
2
cups
heavy cream
1.5
cup
flour
1/2
tbsp
clove
ground
1
tbsp
nutmeg
ground

tbsp
cinnamon
ground

oz
vanilla extract
1/2
cup
maple syrup
4
tbsp
orange zest
approx. 4 oranges
Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients. Add 1/2 amount of milk and cream. Add vanilla and maple syrup. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add orange zest and eggs to remaining milk. Mix well and combine with flour mixture.
Add bread slices and ensure good all around coating. Place in storage container, cover with remaining batter. Soak overnight or for 48 hours.
