Art on Display
At The Bake Shop, we want to create an atmosphere of light and color. To best accomplish this we’ve invited local artists to put their art on display. Our visiting artists change regularly, so make sure to stop by, admire, and take these beautiful pieces home with you.

Charlie Renfro
Charlie Renfro was born and raised in Anchorage. He grew up alpine, nordic and mountain bike racing in and around Girdwood. He has a deep-rooted love of the mountains and the snow. The incredible winter landscape of South Central Alaska inspired Charlie to pursue photography in order to keep those images and feelings close to home.
He is a highly enthusiastic backcountry skier and he brings his camera with him every time he ventures into the mountains.
Eberhard Brunner
When Eberhard Brunner retired from his alpine ski career, he left his native country Austria, to accept the position as Alaska’s first full time ski racing coach. Eberhard fell in love with land rich of splendor, challenge and beauty. As a guide and pilot he has seen much of Alaska’s back country, the villages and their people. Today as a freelance photographer/writer, Eberhard has become the host and consultant for photographers and film crews visiting Alaska. His assignments have taken him to Africa, Europe, Australia and Siberia.
